Microchip Permanent ID Technology
Microchips offer permanent, unique and unalterable means of identifying horses, goats, sheep, or deer. The microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and contains a passive transponder programmed with a unique 15 digit number, compliant with ISO Standards 11784 and 11785.
Microchips come in 840 version that require a Premise ID number and non-840 version that do not.
